Bulgaria's Varna region is a fabulously unusual destination for a beach break with a difference. This northern stretch of Bulgaria's Black Sea is fantastically up-and-coming, and certainly rivals even the Costas and the Canaries. Guests here can enjoy a fabulously extensive array of watersports on the lovely beach, or even choose to head for the forest-covered hills behind the beach for a little trekking.

Both Varna and St Konstantin benefit from a wide selection of shops, museums and galleries, making this a good place to take in the fascinating local culture.
