We spent 14days in Cape verde over Christmas and New year this year, 3 days of the holiday were spend on separate islands thanks to the total chaos of the airline TACV during the time we were there. They lost our booking,cancelled flights,stated flight were full yet flew them with empty seats,refused to let people with boarding passes on to flights,left people at airports and were unable to give any clear information as to when or what flights were taking place. My husband ended up having to share the chartering of a flight in order to join me on Boa Vista.
The hotel is situated on a beautifully quiet beach ,but some enormous developments taking place around the corner may spoil this peace for future visitors. The rooms are beautifully situated directly on the beach however the truama of the first three days with flight problems ruined our holiday.
Other travellers had problems with lost luggage,cancelled flights,poor hotels and poor service. I could go on, no one wanted to return.
The irony is the logo on a t shirt on the window in Sal airport Cape verde -no stress!
